Christian couples who are finding it difficult to have kids can sometimes find themselves asking God why? You must understand the pain and agony that some couples go through. But the truth is, should we ask Him why? God wants Christians, His children to live abundant lives, to be blessed with children, as a matter of fact, He was the one that said ” Go ye into the world, multiply and replenish the earth”. Infertility is not God’s plan for us. One of the most heart-breaking aspects of infertility is, not knowing how long it will take. Newly wed couples who wait for one or two years are forced to ask questions which no one can give an outright answer. Is it temporal?, how long are we going to wait?, is it permanent?. The problem of infertility can be a very difficult one and in most cases the couples are very healthy.
Temporal infertility did not just come into play in this age, right in the bible days, we read about Elizabeth after a long wait gave birth (Luke 1:7, 36). Abraham and Sarah in their old age gave birth (Genesis 11:30) their wait, unimaginable!.
Isaac and Rebekah were also able to bring forth Jacob and Esau (Genesis 25:21).
Rachel prayed, and at long last God “opened her womb.” She bore two sons, Joseph and Benjamin (Genesis 30:1; 35:18). What about Manoah’s wife, who was also not able to conceive over a period of time but later gave birth to Samson (Judges 13:2).
These couples had their challenges but the bottom line is, they all conquered!

James 1:12 Blessed (happy, [c] to be envied) is the man who is patient under trial and stands up under temptation, for when he has stood the test and been approved, he will receive [the victor’s] crown of life which God has promised to those who love Him.
Your trial is for a while! He is a good God! Jesus said (I paraphrase) which of you, when your child ask for a loaf of bread would give a stone in return?, then He went further to say if you guys, you “wicked people” cannot do that to your child, what about the maker of heaven and earth, will He do such a thing?!.
God’s love and plan for His loved ones cannot be over emphasiesed” (James 1:17) Every good gift and every perfect ( [d] free, large, full) gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of all [that gives] light, in [the shining of] Whom there can be no variation [rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [as in an eclipse]. God answers His children, there is no doubt about that, if He has not answered you now, that doesn’t mean He is not going to. Have patient, keep doing His bids.
Is it not surprising that some people who are not strong in the faith or who are not even christians get married and give birth to “loads ” of children without waiting, but for some christians, its like you wait forever.
Does God hate His children? Emphatic NO! The devil is a trick-star, he does not have the power to do the things we “glorify ” him with, glorify in the sense that everything bad that happens, -oh! The devil did this, oh! The devil did that, does he actually have such powers?, NO! He only ‘whispers’ ,you hear it, you allow it and you enlarge it in your heart.
Jesus told Peter, His number 1 to get thee behind me satan, He wasnt talking to Peter but to the devil. What is he whispering to you?, is it -you can’t have a child, you are too old, stop trying, what’s the use- stop wasting money- . As christ’s followers we should be able to tell him to GET BEHIND ME SATAN and instead, confess positively to the glory of God.
If Jesus could answer the prayers of demons that begged to be sent into pigs( you remember the story?). Why will He not answer you?
Stand in faith!,knock out any form of fear, ask in prayers, give Him thanks for the babies you have not seen, do away with sin, give Him praises all the time, check on your doctors, little things like a tilted womb/uterus might just be the hindering factor, check if it’s well positioned, stop alcohol and drugs, relax, forgive anyone who has wronged you, don’t bother about whatever name you are called right now, I know sooner than later, they will come and rejoice with you. Are you working in His kingdom? Think about the childrens section or any other section. I know you are a mum, keep seeing it and saying it the way you want it.
They will call you mum!
