Getting answers from God demands leaving your flesh or feelings behind. You do not need any sign to know you are pregnant. There are so many women today who from the first day of pregnancy to delivery day, never knew they were pregnant. You don’t believe me? There use to be a Reality show ” I Didn’t Know I was Pregnant”. It is strange but it is a fact. Even on delivery day, it is the doctor that breaks the news ” You are going to have a baby now”! In shock and disbelief, they reluctantly push.
What am I trying to say here, ‘feeling’ does not give you anything, It is your trusting and believing God that gives you your baby. Mark 11:24 “For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].”
Believe in your heart that you receive it and not in your head and you shall receive it.
Your word knowledge gives you faith and faith conquers all. 1 John 5:15 ” And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him.”
When we ask according to His will (promises) for us, we will receive what He has promised.
Proverbs 24 :10.” …If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.”
Knowledge in God’s word increases your strength- the more of God’s word you know and keep in your heart, the more confident you become.
2nd Corinthians 1:20, For as many as are the promises of God, they all find their Yes [answer] in Him [Christ]. For this reason we also utter the Amen (so be it) to God through Him [in His Person and by His agency] to the glory of God.
When we ask God according to His promises, He answers us with a ‘Yes’ – There is no ‘NO’ in God’s dictionary, when we ask according to His will.
Your beliefs connects you to God’s supply– Believe in the supernatural powers of God.- Be expectant, your expectations matters a lot!. Your expectation gives you an encounter with God. That encounter, brings in one baby after the other.
Mind you, I know how disheartening it can be when so many people around you give birth to one baby after the other and most of the time, to babies they ‘don’t really want’. The same goes for so many young girls who are not even married.
Be patient! Wait on the Lord, He never fails! When you make getting pregnant your priority, God can get jealous. The Bible says He is a jealous God.
“Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart.”
Put God first in everything. When you worry yourself over getting pregnant, you stress yourself and then it becomes difficult to get pregnant.
There are couples who get pregnant after they decided to go for adoption or after adopting. WHY? Because they get busy with the baby in hand and worry less about getting pregnant.
Relax! Don’t fret, don’t worry yourself out of your skin, He knows what you want but He wants you to put Him first. All you need to do is put Him first, then take all the troubles and problems to Him. Lay them down before Him and watch Him do His thing.
You are becoming a mum/dad sooner than you think.
