Believing God for the fruit of the womb? You need to know that in the kingdom, all things have been provided by God but you must fight the good fight of faith to possess what you want. I know you might say why do some people get married and in no time have their children? While others practically wait! This part is only for God to know why it happens, but you cannot ask Him why!. Remember this, God has not called you into a land of Milk and Honey without a fight, God has not called you into Rest without a fight of faith. Faith is that recipe that makes it work for you.
Deutenoromy 2: 24
Rise up, take your journey, and pass over the Valley of the Arnon. Behold, I have given into your hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land; begin to possess it and contend with him in battle.”
If the land had been given to them, why do they have to fight to for it?
God could have sent His Angels down to take charge of the situation but No! He wanted them to fight and possess. God does not like lazy people!.
In Numbers 13:2
“Send men to explore and scout out [for yourselves] the land of Canaan, “which I give” to the Israelites. From each tribe of their fathers you shall send a man, every one a leader or head among them.”
Check out the phrase in that verse—-which I give—–, which simply means He had given them the land, but fighting was a necessary means of possession. They had dream and vision killers who wanted to thwart the plan of God but thank God for Joshua and Caleb who ignited their faith and the outcome was a land flowing with milk and honey just like God told them and remember, those that did not believe God only saw it from afar but did not enter that land.
Abraham our father was a fighter, living his father’s house at age seventy-five to an unknown destination believing God, was a fight!, allowing Lot to choose first before him was a fight, waiting on God for the fruit of the womb and believing even when Sarah’s womb was dead, was a big fight of faith. What about going on a journey to sacrifice his only son, what do you call that?—— let us switch to Isaac who started the first irrigation, that result was not without fighting and believing God. He dug, the enemies covered. He dug and they covered until the fourth time. Have you wondered what it takes to dig a well then?
What about Jacob who wrestled the Angel of the Lord spiritually untill he was blessed. He waited for what he wanted and also became an expert in his field. Joseph had a dream and had to fight that fight of faith until he became the second most powerful man in Egypt. He waited on God!
Jesus said in John 16:33
” I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulations and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]”
Christ was not just talking to the disciples here but also to you and I!, In the world we are bound to have trials and challenges. Waiting on God for the fruit of the womb is like a war front where you must fight that fight of faith. God has not called you to enter that land flowing with milk and honey in “Gucci suite and a Giovanni pair of shoes” to match, No! God wants you in your “cow-boy shoes” and a “pair of jeans”. Get ‘dirty’ first. By getting “dirty” I mean laboring in Prayers to actualize your goal, God does not like lazy people, He has conquered for you already but you need to pray, praise and serve your way through to your dream. Abraham our Spiritual father declared the word spoken to his life for many years before Isaac came. Don’t stop talking God’s word for your life. God said you shall not be barren! And that word stands forever but you must keep declaring it to yourself every now and then for it to work for you.
You Are A Mum And A Dad! Enter into your land of Milk and Honey, receive your babies by fighting that fight of faith. Don’t give up on God because He won’t give up on you. Until you let the enemy, he cannot take what God has given to you. Remain blessed. U r a mum/dad in Jesus name.
